DR-10 Dial Up Remote Control

The DR-10 is a user programmable remote control that lets you operate your station's equipment from anywhere there's a phone. It automatically answers the phone on a user set number of rings and waits for you to enter your password (from none to 8 digits). After entering your password, you have complete control of the DR-10's relays. They can be individually programmed for momentary, latching or interlocked operation. Each relay can be programmed to decode any of the 16 DTMF tones. Any relay can be tied to any other for modes such as latching and interlocked. Relays can return a beep acknowledge tone that tells you when you've activated an output. The DR-10 includes a two-tone sequence mode and our famous anti-falsing delay mode that prevent accidental contact closures when you're using it for remote broadcasts.

The DR-10 has four logic level inputs that can cause the DR-10 to automatically activate any relay and/or call your pager. When an alarm happens, the DR-10 can tell you which channel caused the alarm with a series of beeps. Each status/alarm input can dial a different number up to 24 digits long including pauses.

The CircuitWerkes DR-10 dial-up remote control is perfect for studio & automation control. With features not found anywhere else, you might be amazed at the DR-10's list price of only $399.00.

Features
>

10 N.O Dry relay contacts out (2 are DPDT for easily switching balanced audio, etc.).

> Auto-answers on user selectable ring number and auto-drops at call's end.
> Each relay can be independently set to function as a momentary closure, latching closure with distinct on/off codes, or interlocked latching with other relays.
> Individual relays can be programmed to close at beginning or end** of tones.
> Up to 8-digit user-settable password prevents pirating.
> A second password can be assigned to allow listening without control functions.
> Any relay can be assigned to any tone(s).
> Momentary or latching open collector output when the DR-10 goes on-line.
> Momentary open collector output when it hangs up.
> Exclusive, Two-tone & detection delay modes eliminate falsing.
> 4 Status inputs can dial 4 numbers and control relays.
> A simple, built-in audio hybrid lets you control equipment while monitoring a local audio source.
> Each relay is programmable to beep when activated.
> Provides active, balanced, phone line audio input and output.
> All outputs appear on easy to use screw terminals.
> Program it with any DTMF phone or encoder.
> Retains its settings after a power failure.
> Rugged, metal case can be table, wall or, optionally, rack mounted.
> The DR-10's first 5 relays can be programmed for binary mode allowing easy interfacing to computers, video or audio routing switchers, etc.

The DR-10 features an audio hybrid that allows you to control the unit while monitoring an external audio source. That makes the DR-10 a great choice for EAS monitoring, remote controlled audio switcher, etc. Of course, an active, balanced telephone audio feed is brought out so that you can put the telephone audio on the air or into a recorder. An external (auxiliary) audio input lets you control the DR-10 from RPUs and other sources. A second, user set password is available that allows the DR-10 to be used as a listening device only. When the secondary password is entered, the DR-10 passes send audio to the caller and will stay on-line, but the caller has no control over the unit's relays. Additional ground sink outputs occur when the DR-10 seizes the phone line and when it hangs up. A disable input allows an external device such a timer, switch or automation system to de-activate the DTMF decoder which lets you choose when others gain remote access to your equipment. Programming is easily done from any DTMF telephone. The DR-10 is compatible with both the Silencer and Call Progress Decoder options. ** End of tone closures operate in momentary mode only.
